For those who may not know, Christina's sister Joanna and now brother-in-law Liam are the reason Christina and Jordan met! Four years ago, on Christmas Eve at the Chapman's house, Christina walked through the door and immediately caught Jordan's attention. He couldn't help but wonder who she was and knew he had to find out. That night, they ended up sitting next to each other at dinner and instantly hit it off, talking for hours about just about everything. Before the night was over, they had become Instagram friends and would occasionally chat here and there. Nothing really came of it that year, but the following Christmas Eve they found themselves back at the Chapman's house. Once again, they were instantly drawn to each other and spent the entire night talking. At that point, Liam and Joanna knew they had to step in and play matchmaker. The next day, Liam gave Jordan Christina's number. Although they continued talking on Instagram, it took Jordan 4 months to work up the courage to actually text her. Christina assumed that because he hadn't reached out, he wasn't interested. The truth was quite the opposite—Jordan was very interested, but he wasn't sure if Christina felt the same way. (Spoiler alert: she definitely did!) Eventually, they planned their first date at Vuolo's in Winthrop, where Jordan lives and now this is one of their favorite places. Jordan was so nervous that he barely touched his food, while Christina carried most of the conversation. Despite the nerves, they had an amazing time. By the end of the night, they were both at home telling their friends and families how great the date had been and how excited they were to see each other again. Christina even told some of her closest friends and her sister that she thinks that Jordan could be the one! After a couple of attempts at a second date (mostly due to nerves) they finally went on a date to the Bruins game, where Jordan confessed why he had canceled. Jordan thought Christina had only gone out with him to be nice and couldn't believe someone as incredible as her would actually be interested in him. Christina reassured him that his fears couldn't have been further from the truth, and from that moment on, everything felt easy. There was never an awkward silence or a dull moment. They were completely drawn to each other, and within just a few months, they both knew they had found something special and were both in love. What started with a Christmas Eve introduction turned into a love story neither of them could have imagined—and the best chapter is still being written!
