Best Man
I met this dude when I was 6 and he was 4. He used to follow me around church, non-stop kicking me. Of course, I had to show him who was boss.
Best Man
He used to work at Sam & Libby and didn't finish puberty until his late 20s.
Groomsman
We used to sleep outside in 30 degree weather pretending that we were in an Arctic expedition. We also used to play, "Who dies the best." Those were all his ideas......
Groomsman
Has an identical twin sister named Hideklynne.
Groomsman
There are many photos of him sleeping in random restaurants and bars around town. Never once ordered his own meals-just ate our leftovers. Genius!
Groomsman
I think there’s been a mistake. Why is he even on here?
Matron of Honor
Casey and I first met when she ended up sitting next to me in science class at college. I remember thinking she looked like a little kid, and took her for one of those child geniuses that was taking college classes when she was actually of middle school age. She has special gift of hospitality and generosity-she's the type of person who will give you the shoes off her feet, and opens her life and home up to us with no reservations. Another unique trait about her is she's a beast. She will give 110% to what she's doing, and seeing that in her inspires in me to do better and work harder. I'm thankful she ended up taking the seat next to me that day.
Bridesmaid
Oh Julie.... from the outside, she is the "it" girl. Homecoming queen in high school, cheerleader for Vanderbilt in college, known as the Korean Mariah Carey. But I know her as my crazy, fun, weird friend. I get weird when I hang out with her. Love her goofiness and all the laughs she brings in my life. She and her sister plotted to get Jong and I to get together (it's giving Parent Trap), which Jong fumbled so hard initially, but God's mercies are new every morning.
Bridesmaid
Mia and I also know each other from Vandy. She became a dear friend of mine when I moved back from California to Atlanta. She made sure I wasn't lonely when I first moved and helped me build community here. She was privy throughout my dating chronicles in Atlanta and didn't hold back in telling me if she thought a guy was good for me or not. Jong passed her vetting process. She's my venting partner over snacks, my loyal friend, a "sister from another mother".
Bridesmaid
Amy and I went through residency together, which means we are trauma bonded for life. Even though I've known her the shortest amount of time, we shared a lot of big life events where it bypassed the need for time to find a friend that's like family in Amy. We traveled to Paris and Thailand together. People say taking trips together is a good way to find out if couples are compatible and will last-the same goes for friends, too.
Bridesmaid
Shin aka Shinster aka Eppuni because she's my beautiful, sweet, gentle-hearted friend. We used to have fun making music videos in college when we should've been studying. She's like sunshine, and has been a steadfast, encouraging cheerleader throughout our friendship. Although bright and whimsical, she also is wise and can count on her to give me good advice. She also has this uncanny skill for finding 4 leaf clovers-I feel lucky to call her friend.
Bridesmaid
Binu-I've known the longest. We went to middle school together, went to separate high schools and then met again at Vandy. She is my sweet, sweet friend with whom when I'm around her, I feel grounded. The chaos of the world seems less. She is also my smart, wise friend and I go to her often for advice. In middle school, when we completed a school project baking a cake of a cell and its parts, I likened her to the Golgi bc her brain is processing all the things. She remembers more details about my life than I do. Mr. Thomas was like a father figure while Jong and I were dating in the sense that he would teasingly grill Jong about his intentions and when he was going to propose hahaha
