If you have any other questions or concerns that are not listed, please reach out to Christina or John directly.
Question

How do we get to venue?

Answer

Valet services will be available at the venue at $25 per vehicle. This will be the most convenient form of arriving to the venue if you are driving. If you choose to park on your own, parking will be very limited so Uber or SpotHero is highly encouraged if you do not go the valet route. If using Uber for the 1st time, use code SKSAVE20 for $20 off your first ride. If using SpotHero for the 1st time, use code FIRSTSPOT10 for 10% off parking. There’s plenty of parking lots in the area including Lurie Children’s Hospital as well as 668 Wrightwood Ave.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We request that all guests wear formal attire, black-tie optional.

Question

What if I have dietary restrictions?

Answer

The bride is no stranger to dietary restrictions. We will be offering a vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free option for dinner entrees. If you have a specific dietary restriction or concern, please reach out to Christina or John directly.

Question

Will there be any snacks after dinner?

Answer

Yes, we will have late night snacks available after dinner.

Question

How long will the bar be open?

Answer

We have premium open bar service open during the entirety of the reception which ends at midnight.

Question

When should I book my accommodations?

Answer

If you are taking advantage of one of the hotels listed on the Travel page, please book by August 1, 2023 before the rooms in our block are released.

Question

Do I get a plus one?

Answer

Invites have been addressed accordingly. Please check your RSVP link for details.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Formal invitations will be sent out two months prior to the wedding date. The RSVP tab on our website will be made visible with entrée choices and we please ask everyone RSVP by July 31, 2023.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We ask that all guests leave their phones in their pockets or purses for the ceremony. We will have a professional photographer and videographer on hand to take plenty of pictures! Be reminded, we are getting married in Church, so out of respect, please put those phones on silent.

Question

Give me all the details about the post-wedding Brunch.

Answer

With the change in location, John and I want to reiterate, that BRUNCH IS HAPPENING!!! We could not be more excited to continue the celebrations! This won't be your typical brunch either. Get ready for the best gourmet burgers, chicken sandwiches, fries, onion rings, chicken fingers and more that you've ever had! Also serving VEG, VGN, GF, & DF options! :) Sign me up! We'll be setting up the giant jenga and bags on the patio weather permitting. For those parents out there, thank you for keeping your kiddos at home for our wedding reception, but the brunch is kid friendly!! So please bring your little ones if you were on the fence about coming! John and I hope to see you there!
