There is limited parking in the parking lot for the venue. We would like to reserve the spaces for members of the bridal party, elderly, or immediate family of the brides. There is some street parking in the neighborhood as well. We encourage carpooling, Lyft or Uber, to the wedding. We will have a Uber Event code to help as well.
This is a formal wedding…. A formal wedding dress code is slightly less formal than a black-tie event, and in general it tends to have fewer specifications. Women can get away with a nicer cocktail dress and, for men, tuxedos are not required however suits are required. Dress shoes required no tennis shoes, NO Crocs!!! Again the same dress code applies to the kids too.
Daily high temperatures decrease by 12°F, from 73°F to 61°F, rarely falling below 45°F or exceeding 84°F. Daily low temperatures decrease by 10°F, from 46°F to 36°F, rarely falling below 25°F or exceeding 55°F. However October is the first month it typically snows. Throughout October, in the average 2.8 snowfall days, it receives 4.02" (102mm) of snow.
Due to parking please plan to arrive at least 30 minutes early.
We regret to inform our friends and family that there is a strict no kids under 5 years of age policy. Unless the child is a member of the bridal party or immediate family. We will welcome kids 5 and up are but they must be in arms reach of their parent at all times. Kids must be well behaved and not running around. They also must dress for the dress code. Our day of coordinator or security team will ask you to leave if the arms length rule is not followed. This is a historic building from the 1800s and there will be many non kid friendly things like glassware and candles around.
Our registry’s are listed on this website. We are extremely lucky to have love, laughter and house full of furniture, so if you'd like to help us celebrate with a gift, we've set up a wedding/honeymoon fund on our registry.
Yes it is but we will have one of our ushers guide you to the super secret entrance. Boy don’t you feel special now!
The higher altitude here compared to the lower elevation in most other states may cause altitude sickness accompanied by nausea and headaches. To enjoy good health in the Rocky Mountains, all first-timers to Colorado should cut back on smoking and drinking alcohol during your stay. It’s easy to get inebriated after only a drink at high altitudes. It’s advisable that you increase your water intake as well, as it will help you manage the dry air situation. First thing in the morning have a large glass of water to start your day here out right. Then be sure to drink plenty of H2O throughout the day.
Of course there will be! Cocktail Hour followed by a reception will follow wedding. We are pleased to have an open bar for our guests and a Mexican food bar, along with an Italian food bar. We wanted to represent both of our cultures. We also will have cake of course… oh and a candy bar :)
