What is the dress code for the welcome party?

Answer

Weather permitting, we’ll kick things off atop the historic Klamath, a stationary ferry docked in San Francisco. The roof deck is a stunner when the Bay behaves, but the breeze can turn “refreshing” in a hurry, SF microclimates love a plot twist. If you tend to run cold, fear not: the ferry has plenty of cozy indoor spaces. And if the weather takes a turn for the worse, we can switch to the indoor reception space. Dress code: dressy-casual. Picture what you’d wear to a nice dinner when you actually want that second date, polished but not overly formal. Think sundress + sweater or sport coat + chinos (bonus points for layers).

What is the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

We would love for you to use our wedding as an excuse to dress up! Our wedding will be held at a golf course, with the ceremony (weather permitting) outdoors on the grass. Keep this in mind when picking out your shoes! The dress code is semi-formal, with no short sleeves or jeans, please. No color scheme for dress code, but maybe stay away from wearing white! 😉 A famous quote about our city once said "the coldest winter I ever experienced was a summer in San Francisco," which can often be true. While we are hoping that September will be out of the gloom of our summer, make sure you are prepared with layers and check the forecast ahead of time!

Am I allowed to bring my children?

We’ve decided to make our wedding adults-only, with the exception of family. Invitations include the names of everyone invited. We hope you can use this as a chance for a date night! If this poses any challenges, please don’t hesitate to reach out to Jack or Christina—we’d love to help make it work.

Question

What is transportation like in San Francisco? Can I park at the venue?

Answer

San Francisco has many transportation options. From anywhere in the city, the venue should be a maximum of around a 20-minute drive. You can easily access the venue via Uber or Lyft, or if you want to try something exciting, Waymo, the driverless car! Parking is also complimentary at the venue; just make sure you have a safe plan to get home. Additionally, there is parking across the street from our welcome party location.
