Walking Bride Down the Aisle
Beau and Greg are two of my closest, dearest friends. I met them both because we were on the same mountain bike team. Although we started as teammates, we've become family to one another. They both have stuck by me in good and bad times. Together we love biking, camping, good drinks, and having game nights. One of the first times Beau and Greg met Jack was at a cards against humanity night. This was before we were dating and Beau picked up on something between Jack and me almost immediately (he is very perceptive). He also made me talk about how I felt and helped me sort things out. Beau and Greg have always been supportive of us and I am super lucky to call them my chosen family. There was no other people I would want by my side as I start my life with Jack.
Maid of Honor and Officiant
Jackie and I met at Wells Fargo almost ten years ago. I was a barista at Ike's Coffee and she was a teller where we banked. We began hanging out with a mutual friend, and the rest is history! Jackie and I have been by each others side through so many ups and downs. She truly is my person (iykyk), and I am so lucky that I have her in my life. One day I hope we can live in the same city again. Together we love watching our shows, going to concerts, and hanging out with our dogs. When Jack and I were just friends, Jackie told me he was "trying to wife me up" and I didn't believe her. Turns out she knew we were a match before I did!
Bridesmaid
Hanna and I met at Crooked Tooth Brewery where she was a beertender, about five! years ago. She noticed that a sketchy guy was talking to me, and when he went to the bathroom, she asked me if I was okay or needed help leaving. I was ok, but we hit it off that night and exchanged numbers. Little did I know that night she would become such a dear friend. Together we love taking yoga classes, drinking beer and coffee, and going up Tumamoc. She is a great listener, hilarious, and kind. Jack and I love having her in our lives.
Bridesman
Mike and I have been friends since we were in high school! We met volunteering at UMC over the summer and quickly bonded over our love of endurance sports (he is a swimmer and I am a cyclist) and emo music. Mike and I have gone through so many big life changes together: break ups, moving, and getting married. When I started hanging out with Jack, Mike had just bought a house. Coincidentally, it was down the street from Jack's house! Now, Mike and his husband are our favorite neighbors. I feel very lucky to live so close to one of my oldest friends.
Best Man
Arnold is one of Jack's closet friends. Together they love to work on and ride motorcycles, drink local coffee, and go to swap meets. Arnold, like Jackie, knew Jack and I liked one another before we did. After meeting me at Yellow Brick he told his wife, Ashley, that he thought I had a thing for Jack. He, of course, was right! So lucky to call The Tellez Family our friends.
Groomswoman
April is Jack's older sister, with whom he is very close. She is a great sister; she has a big heart and is always there when you need her. Our wedding cake was actually made by her! One of the best parts about being with Jack is being part of his family, who have always been welcoming to me.
Groomsman
Roderick is Jack's eight year old nephew. He loves football, swimming, and You Tube. We love being his aunt and uncle and are excited that he is a part of our wedding.
