Geoff and Christina met in the Peabody High Chorale, her sophomore year and his senior year. They became close friends, though Geoff had a crush on Christina and says "she left an impression". Geoff stayed local after his high school graduation so they continued to hang out as friends. Geoff even helped Christina get her 1st job at Bonkers Funhouse where they worked together!

After high school graduation, Christina went to UMass Lowell, and Geoff went to UMass Amherst, and they lost touch for a few years. In fall 2015, they ended up at a mutual friend's house and rekindled their friendship. Geoff came to visit Christina at UML a few times that school year, including showing up at her A Cappella Show with a bouquet of roses. He asked her to be his date for his fraternity's trip to Montreal that April. Christina agreed to go as his friend, and they had a fun weekend away with everyone! After they got home, Geoff cleverly put on the song "Girlfriend" by N*SYNC and began singing it to Christina in the car. Christina will tell you that this is the moment she realized she had way more feelings for Geoff than she thought. Geoff actually did ask her to be his girlfriend later that night, but Christina said no at first because she didn't want a boyfriend. They texted every day from that point, and when Geoff visited Christina at school 2 weeks later, she told him to ask her again!

Geoff and Christina spent the next 5 years together. Despite going to college 1.5 hours apart, they saw each other almost every weekend during their senior year of undergrad. Over the next few years, Christina went through a few different school programs, and Geoff has been her supportive rock through her entire journey. In 2020, they adopted their fur-child, Ellie, and moved in together. The next spring, Geoff suggested doing a photoshoot for their 5 year anniversary coming up. While Christina was suspicious of this (it was very out of character for Geoff), she agreed it was a great idea! Unknown to Christina, Geoff involved her friends and family in planning the photoshoot, down to every last detail. Unfortunately, the one thing he could not control was the weather, and it down-poured the entire day! They still chose to do the photoshoot, and had fun in the rain while doing so! At the end of the session, the photographer (who was in on the plan), asked if there was "anything else" we wanted to do before we finished. Geoff said he had one more idea, took Christina's hands, and began to propose. Geoff will tell you he completely forgot his entire speech he had planned. Christina will tell you she blacked out and doesn't remember anything he said anyways! Luckily, the entire process was captured in photos to remember forever.

On the day of their wedding, Geoff and Christina will be celebrating 7 years together!
