Christina & Gary

Lighted Garland

Wedding Party + Family

"Padre" Alan Selzer

Officiant

"Padre" Alan and Gary have been residential and office neighbors on and off for years. Alan and his wife Amy are dear friends of Gary, and now Christina too. Although this is Alan's first rodeo as a minister, he brings much wisdom and grace to the role and we are so honored to have him officiate on our special day.

Meryl Chae

Matron of Honor

Meryl and Christina have known each other since they were thirteen years old. From their crazy high school adventures to all of the roller coasters of life, Meryl has been Christina's best friend and support in all endeavors. While Meryl is a very successful attorney, she could easily have a booming back-up career in event planning. We are so grateful for all of her help in making our backyard celebration beautiful and magical.

Otto Huber

Father of the Bride

Otto is originally from Austria and currently resides in Las Vegas, NV, where he and Christina's mom Gitta moved in the 1990's. Otto is 93 years old, and filled will lots of life and energy. We are so lucky to have him present at the Culver City wedding.

Jack Tamayo

Son of the bride

Jack has been the number one guy in Christina's life since he was born. Raising him as a single parent has meant that Christina and Jack have an unbreakable bond. Jack has always been Christina's greatest joy, fierce protector and sidekick in all adventures as he was growing up. He is the best son anyone could ask for and she is so proud of the man he has become.

Marianne And Gary Rhoades

Parents of the groom

Gary and Marianne retired from the city and moved to the country in Leeton, Missouri in 2016. They are excited to be attending Christina and Gary's country nuptials on September 9th, but will also very much be here in spirit in Culver City on May 7th and we will be thinking of them.

Adam Radinsky

Best Man

Adam hails from Chicago and is a lifelong Cubs fan. After collaborating on a fair housing case in 2006, Gary joined Adam's civil rights and consumer protection team at the Santa Monica City Attorney's Office where they worked together for the next 14 years. When they weren't busy fighting consumer fraud and housing discrimination, Adam and Gary could commiserate as long-suffering Cubs and Royals fans. Until the stretch of 2014 through 2016. That's when their beloved teams went on pennant and World Series rolls into history.
