They moved to California together in 2009, drove across the country on a road trip, have visited more than 10 countries around the world and are affectionately known as the cousin twins! As, many people have mistaken them for actual twins :)

Christina's one and only brother. James shares in the stories of growing up in small town Maine. He spent his childhood making sure Christina could handle a tough and rough world and decided as an adult being her friend wasn't so bad after all. James has been there for Christina to support, encourage and be a family cornerstone.

Madeline joined Christina's family in 2023 when she got married to James West. It has been such a joy for Christina to have a sister in law and now they have the shared joy of raising their daughters together and supporting each other as sisters and mothers to the next generation of incredible women!

Heidi and Christina met on a school bus ride at the age of 11 and the rest is history. Best friends for life is the only way to describe them. No matter the distance or time apart their friendship is a sisterhood bond that fills both their life with laughter, adventure and support.

Sarah is one of Christina's cousins. They grew up seeing each other for family get togethers and summers on Squam lake. Making the best of memories and sharing in a family bond. Sarah shares the same passion as Christina for travel, art and creativity and animals!

Laura is the oldest of Christina's Kountz cousins and born just 12 days before her. They grew up as cousins but really more like sisters. Laura stood by and supported Christina through her home birth Journey of bringing Aurora into this world. Christina has been showered with love and support from Laura, especially now that she is living close by in Southern California!

Ellen is Christina's longest lifelong friend. They met in dance class at just 10 years old. They have known each other for every season of life. Ellen moved out to California after flying out here to visit Christina and it has been a huge life line for Christina to have one of her childhood friends living close by to support each other and watch our families grow!

Raquel and Christina met through a unique path. A story that started with a very unlikely friendship has led to not only a friendship but a powerful bond that has shown them both the power of trust, honesty and support. After living together and seeing each other grow into the people they are today. Christina is so grateful to call Raquel a true friend who has a heart for culture, diversity and the arts.

Their friendship lasted through starting a company together, living together for over 8 years and taking numerous road trips across multiple states. There is really nothing the two of them can't accomplish if they both decide they are going to do it!
