How they met
"A Modern Love Story"
Christina and Elie matched on an online dating app. After about a month of talking online and getting to know each other, they scheduled a dinner date at The Boynton in Worcester. It was a warm summer evening and they were both eager to meet in person. Elie was waiting outside of the Boynton when he saw first saw Christina approach him. Right off the bat the chemistry was apparent. They spoke about their careers and past experiences over a couple of craft beers and a Hawaiian pizza. Afterward, they held hands as Elie walked Christina back to her apartment, and they shared their first kiss outside on the sidewalk. As they kissed, a car drove past and some rowdy teenagers cheered out the window. They both laughed. At the time, neither of them realized that it was fate sending them a message.
THE PROPOSAL
"In The Nick of Time..."
Elie began to work with a jeweler to pick out the perfect ring for his future fiancé. When he picked out the diamond, the jeweler told him that the ring would be ready at the beginning of October. He wanted to pop the question during their annual apple-picking trip to not draw suspicion (Christina knew it was coming soon and it's very uncharacteristic for Elie to orchestrate an activity or date). Before he could coordinate with Christina's friend to set the date, she beat him to the punch! She had scheduled the apple picking date for early September, a whole month before the ring would be ready. Cue the frantic messaging back and forth between Elie and their friends, hashing out contingency plans. Elie visited the jeweler the week before the date to check on the status of the ring, and they told him that it would not be ready early, but that they would call him if anything changed. The day before the apple picking plans, Elie had just decided to reschedule when he received a call from the jeweler. The ring was ready! He ran straight to pick it up, and was moved by the turn of fate. Elie could hardly wait to propose, and in the first row of apple trees he saw a gorgeous apple hanging from the top of a tree. It took some convincing but eventually Christina agreed to climb a ladder to pick it. By the time she got to the bottom and turned around, he was there on one knee.
Things they love
(Other Than Each Other)
Christina and Elie love learning new things together like taking a cooking class or a painting lesson. They also love to travel together, and no drive is too long when they are in each other's company. One of their favorite places to visit is Portland, Maine. The calm vibes and comfortable atmosphere eases their minds in times of stress. They are both scientists who love talking about their work together. Elie loves playing video games, and Christina enjoys watching the action. She enjoys helping him solve puzzles and has a keen eye for loot. They love to dance! When given the opportunity they will tear up a dance floor all night long like no one is watching.

They Look Forward Most To
Continuing to grow together, learn from each other, and the adventures that they will share. They are looking forward to traveling and seeing parts of the world before settling down. The bond and understanding of each other that they share is not only deep, it's intrinsic. It's because of this that they are looking forward to the rest of their lives together, and all the happiness it will bring.
