FAQs

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

To match the elegance of our enchanted evening, we invite guests to wear casual formal / elegant all-black attire. Please refrain from white, ivory, or cream and kindly avoid flip-flops, so the magic of the night remains timeless and refined.

Question

What day will this love story begin?

Answer

Our tale begins on Sunday, April 26th. Please plan accordingly, as our celebration will take place on a Sunday evening.

Question

Can I bring a +1?

Answer

Just like the enchanted rose, our guest list is carefully curated. Only the names specifically written on your invitation are included. If a +1 was not listed, we kindly ask that you attend solo.

Question

Are children allowed?

Answer

Young princes and princesses listed on the invitation are welcome.

Question

Where is the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Our wedding will be held inside the grand halls of Jacksonville’s Main Downtown Library — a venue that perfectly captures the magic of enchanted books, timeless stories, and golden-lit romance. All events will take place within the library so guests can enjoy the evening without traveling between locations. Address: 303 N. Laura St., Jacksonville, FL 32202.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Our love story begins promptly at 6:30 pm. Guests will be permitted entry starting at 6:00pm. Doors will close at 6:15 pm and guests will not be permitted entry until the ceremony has ended. We kindly ask you to not show any earlier than 6:00 pm to be courteous of our wedding party, planners, and venue staff.

Question

Is there parking available?

Answer

Yes — plenty! Guests may park in nearby street parking or in the city-owned parking garages surrounding the library. All options are just steps away from the venue.

Question

Will the ceremony or reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be outside, surrounded by the charm and architecture of the library grounds. The reception will be indoors, set within the glowing, book-lined chambers of the library. If weather does not permit, both ceremony and reception will be moved indoors to continue the magic without interruption.

Question

What should I do if I can’t attend?

Answer

If your journey leads elsewhere, please RSVP “no” by March 1st so we may prepare our tables and seating accordingly. If there is no RSVP by March 1st, we will assume that you are unable to attend.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

We have reserved guest chambers at the Marriott Jacksonville Downtown, a short carriage ride (or quick stroll) from all the festivities.
