Please RSVP on our website by August 10, 2022. We need time to inform vendors of our final guest count to finalize all of our plans and ensure everything goes smoothly the day of.
Please arrive between 2:30 PM and 2:45 PM to allow time to settle in and take your seats so we can begin the ceremony promptly at 3:00 PM! Reception will follow immediately until 8:00 PM.
The ceremony and reception will be held in the same location at Quail Hollow Ranch County Park in the Santa Cruz mountains (about 20 minutes from Downtown Santa Cruz). The address is 800 Quail Hollow Road, Felton, CA 95018. Quail Hollow Ranch is a scenic nature preserve on 300 acres of land encompassing a charming ranch of historical and ecological significance. It was once a thriving horse ranch and vacation home of the Lane family who owned Sunset Magazine and used the ranch as a test garden and test kitchen for the magazine.
There approximately 50 parking spots available at the venue. Carpooling is suggested! Uber & Lyft are limited in Santa Cruz mountain area. There is an option to reserve a ride ahead of time on the app which may be helpful. There are also 2 taxi services in the area. Yellow Cab 831-333-1234 and Deluxe Cab 831-475-3232.
Please see the travel tab for more info on hotels in the area. We also suggest looking at Airbnb or VRBO for more options. The wedding is in Felton, but surrounding areas include: Ben Lomond, Scotts Valley, Boulder Creek, Santa Cruz, Live Oak, Capitola, Soquel. San Jose is about 45 mins away.
Cocktail, garden, dressy casual attire is encouraged, but don’t sweat the dress code too much! We want you to be comfortable. Ladies: stiletto style heels are not suggested as we will be in the grass. Wedges, thicker heels, sandals or flats would be best.
Outside. You should know us by now :)
It will likely be warm and sunny. There is some shade provided by the trees, but don’t forget your sunscreen and sunglasses! The temperature usually drops in the evening. A light sweater, jacket or shawl might be a good idea.
Unless it is indicated on your invitation, please do not bring any extra guests. As much as we would love to include everybody, our venue and budget have a capacity limit. Thank you for understanding.
We kindly ask that you refrain from taking pictures during the ceremony to ensure our photographer can get the best shots without an obstructed view. We’ve hired a wonderful professional photographer (Emily of Simply Wandering Photography) that will have a second shooter with her to capture all the magic so you don’t have to. We want you to be fully present with us during this special moment and to see your beautiful faces, not your phones. We will happily share the photos as soon as they are available!
Absolutely! Beer, wine and non-alcoholic options will be provided. The venue does not allow hard alcohol.
Dinner will be catered by Mission St. BBQ. We know BBQ can get a little messy, but we will be prepared with plenty of napkins, wet naps and Tide pens in case of emergency! Vegan/vegetarian options will be available. Please indicate dietary restrictions when you RSVP which we will do our best to accommodate.
Yes, please see the registry tab for more info. We've accumulated most things we need over the years, but funds to apply toward our honeymoon would be helpful and greatly appreciated. We would also like to start backpacking, so we have added some items and a fund to help with that as well.
