We're Getting Married

We met in late February of 2021, when I returned to the United States from Djibouti Africa. Me being the 'tech savvy' person that I am, I decided that I would hook up my cable and internet solo. After the millionth attempt at connecting my router and failing miserably, I placed a phone call to my local cable company, and scheduled to have a technician come out and set everything up. On the day of instillation, I was late to my appointment, and received a phone call from the cable technician 'Corey Burnett', stating he would have to reschedule my appointment. After much begging and pleading, Corey decided to hang around for what seemed like an eternity to him, but in all actuality, was twenty minutes. From that day forward, our journey began.

Corey asked my family for their blessing in taking my hand in marriage on 5 September 2021. Prior to Halloween of 2021, Corey informed me that he had been searching for the perfect ring. I am old fashioned, so I told Corey to just place a rubber band around my finger. But, Corey being the 'stubborn' Aries that he is, insisted on doing things the right way. In November of 2021, Corey proceeded to tell me that he bought my ring, but it would not be arriving anytime soon. Now I asked myself, "what kind of man would tell his future wife this"? My second statement to Corey was, "well you better get in your car and drive to pick it up". Then on Christmas Day of 2021, Corey surprised me with the perfect ring and asked for my hand in marriage.
