Island Transportation

Kiawah Island Golf Resort provides complimentary on demand transportation from any resort owned property to any resort outlet form 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. That being said, we highly recommend booking your stay through KIGR! Call 800.654.2924 to set up transportation. As another option, we suggest renting a car or using a transportation service to travel around Kiawah Island, as Uber and Lyft do not operate in and around the island. Transportation from Kiawah Island to the airport can also be arranged through the accommodations below. Travel Note

Arriving to the Island

The nearest airport is Charleston International Airpot (CHS), which is a 40 minute drive from Kiawah Island. Uber/Lyft are available from the airport, but do not operate in and around Kiawah. When you arrive at the Kiawah Island main gate, let the attendant know you are here for the Vurnakes-Braddy wedding. They will give you a gate pass that will provide access throughout the island. If you are flying in, it may be beneficial to rent a car!
