We are recommending that our guest stay at the Dolphin Hotel, which is part of the Disney Swan and Dolphin Resort. This includes the Swan, Dolphin, and Swan Reserve, which are all within walking distance of each other. Disney's Boardwalk Hotel and Epcot are also within walking distance. If there are mobility concerns, we recommend looking into a multi-day scooter rental. See map here: https://swandolphin.com/more/maps/
Once on property, guests enjoy complimentary scheduled transportation around the Walt Disney World Resort. Guests can take a leisurely cruise on a Disney water taxi to Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studios, or take our Epcot Resort Hotels shuttle bus to all other attractions and Disney resorts within Walt Disney World complex. Transportation arrives at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin approximately every 15 – 20 minutes so you can come and go as you please with very little wait time. https://swandolphin.com/more/location/
Yes, the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin hotels are included in what is now called "Extended Evening Theme Park Hours," which is essentially the same benefit as the previous "Extra Magic Hours," allowing guests staying at these resorts to enjoy additional park time after regular closing hours. This varies by park and date, and the information will be available as the dates get closer. Guests at the Swan and Dolphin also get access to "Early Theme Park Entry," which provides an extra 30 minutes in the parks before regular opening time.
Besides the perks mentioned above (free transportation and extra park hours), guests staying in Disney resorts can also book dining reservations and fast passes for the parks earlier than non Disney resort guests. We recommend downloading the Disney World app, which explains how fast passes work.
