Riverside is known for its citrus, and this park is so fun to visit for a taste of our city's trademark! Enjoy a wonderful stroll through different citrus groves, an educational look at the history by visiting the museum, or a picnic on one of the sprawling grass lawns. This stop is a classic!
Not just known for being an amazing hotel, the Mission Inn is a must see for guests to our city! Located right in the heart of Riverside, you'll find yourself "oohing" and "aahhing" at the architecture, the ambiance, and the overall historical feel of the inn.
If you'd like to take a stroll, the best place to do that here in the city is on Victoria Avenue! Palm tree-lined and completely surrounded by acres of orange groves, this is a perfect place to get a little fresh air, enjoy some California scenery, and take it all in.
Our absolute favorite park to see a sunset, Sycamore Highlands Park is located atop a hill that overlooks the entire city of Riverside (and beyond!). There is a playground here, as well as picnic benches, but be warned that there are no bathrooms and a relatively large hill to climb to get to the top to enjoy the sunset.
If you're looking for food for everyone's preferences, look no further than the Riverside Plaza! There truly is something for everyone here, and with the communal seating in the middle of the outdoor eating area, you really can satisfy everyone's preferences and still enjoy a meal together. Everything from Chipotle to Dickie's BBQ to Habit Burger to Ono Hawaiian. Ben and I's favorite is Pier 76 Fish Grill, if you happen to be in the mood for a delicious crispy fish burrito or fish tacos.
This is a perfect spot to get a great taste for California coffee! Riverside is known for its craft coffee scene, and Arcade is the best of the best! Grab a coffee, enjoy some breakfast, and sit and relax at this beautiful town center.
A trendy food court with plenty of options for everyone, this is a great stop for lunch or dinner and is in walking distance from Downtown!
If you’re looking for a fancier meal, this trendy spot is perfect for a good dinner out! Located in downtown, it’s in a run location and provides a great downtown experience for dining.
This is one of the best places in town for a nice meal of delicious, authentic Mexican food! Located on the Mission Inn property, the patio is gorgeous and has a wonderful ambiance while eating.
If you’re looking for a hike and some exercise, check out one of the city’s landmarks, Mt. Rubidoux! This paved, doable hike is such a wonderful way to see the city from above and has an amazing view from the top! If you have kids, there’s a great park right at the bottom of it called Ryan Bonaminio Park.
