Do I need to pay for parking?

Answer

Yes! There is a $10 day fee to enter and park in the state park. If you already have a valid discover pass, that will gain you entry to the park. If this an obstacle to you attending, please reach out to us!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

No! This day is about celebrating the people in our lives, and the life we are building together. Please wear whatever you feel most comfortable in. Plan to be outdoors for most of the day.

Can I wear scented beauty/hygiene products?

Answer

Please refrain from wearing scented or perfume-y products! This is to accommodate for guests' allergies to perfumes in various products. If you need ideas or help with unscented alternatives, please reach out to us!

Is the venue wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Yes - the venue is easily pushable (packed dirt for the ceremony space) and there are paved pathways to all the areas you'll need to access for the wedding. The bathrooms are wheelchair accessible. If you need any other accommodations, please reach out ASAP.

What will the food options be?

Please keep an eye on this website - we will post our menu as soon as it's finalized.

How long do I have to RSVP?

Answer

We need your RSVP by June 27, 2024 (two weeks beforehand). This allows us to work with our caterer in finalizing meals for everyone!

Are there options for dietary restrictions?

Answer

Yes - we will have gluten free, dairy free, and vegan/vegetarian options. Please keep an eye on this website to see an updated menu, and reach out if you need anything else. We want everyone to eat!

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

We will not be providing alcoholic beverages at our event, but do have some yummy, refreshing drinks in the lineup!

Should I bring a gift?

Answer

If you would like to gift us something for our wedding, we are asking for help with our honeymoon fund. You can find the link on this website under Registry. Please do not feel pressured to donate. The most important thing is having you there to celebrate with us.

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

Yes! If your child(ren) will be needing food, please let us know so we can have a plate for them. There is a playground next to the venue where your kiddos can run around and plenty of park to explore.

Is the wedding event indoors or outdoors?

Answer

A mix! The ceremony will be held in the forested space near the Log Hall, but the reception will take place in the Log Hall itself. Food and dancing will take place there, and there are also outdoor cabanas. There are plenty of options to get your perfect mix of sun & shade!

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

If your invitation does not already account for a plus one, please let us know and we will go from there!

Am I allowed to take photos?

Answer

Yes! We ask that you refrain from taking photos during the ceremony; aside from that, snap away! We will be providing a QR code to guests for a digital photo album. Everyone will be able to send the photos they took to the album and see the album as a whole even after the event!

Will there be any updates to the posted information?

Answer

Yes! As we finalize certain details, we will add that information to this site so feel free to check in often. Our hope is to have our menu posted soon!

Will there be enough parking?

Answer

Our wedding is taking place in a state park in the summer - therefore, we recommend carpooling if possible. While we have our wedding area reserved, there will be other visitors exploring all other parts of the park.

How do I RSVP?

Answer

Please navigate to the "RSVP" tab in this website. Search for your name, and send in your RSVP. All guests we anticipate in your party will be included under your name.
