When should I arrive and when should I depart for the wedding?

Answer

Please plan to arrive Thursday, January 26, 2023 and depart Sunday, January 29, 2023. You are welcome to arrive sooner or depart later and can work with our travel agent to accommodate.

Can I book the Dreams Playa Mujeres hotel on my own directly or using points?

Answer

You'll have to pay a private event fee to attend the wedding events ($200+/day/person) if you don't book through the block. Our rooms are an awesome deal! We have guaranteed rates and a hotel block reserved for the wedding party through our travel agent. Can I stay at a hotel offsite and just attend the events at the hotel?

Answer

All of our wedding events are taking place onsite at the Dreams Playa Mujeres All-Inclusive Resort. We recommend all of our guests stay onsite for the full experience! There will be an additional fee charged by the resort to attend wedding events if staying offsite because it is all-inclusive. Dreams Playa Mujeres charges a day pass to enter the property that is $150/day/person AND a private event fee of $200+/day/person. Trust us--it's better to stay on property and enjoy the resort.

Can I bring other friends or family to the wedding?

Answer

Please check your invite for your +1! However, feel free to bring along parents, kids, or siblings to the resort and make it a family vacation by extending your stay! Just note that the guest count for the wedding events is limited to the number on the invitation.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Due to the size restrictions of our venue, we can only accommodate children in the family. That said, there is a free kids club during the day and childcare/nanny options available in the evening (for a fee) if you want to bring your kids along for the vacation even if you can't bring them to the wedding! What does the all-inclusive hotel rate include?

Answer

Rates include the following: 1. All inclusive accommodations at Dreams Playa Mujeres, including meals, drinks and activities as defined by the resort. Additionally, special food will be catered for all wedding events 2. All taxes, fees and tips, bellman and housekeeping fees. What are the visa and/or passport requirements for Mexico?

Answer

Travel to Mexico requires valid passports, even for US Citizens. Please ensure that your passport expires no earlier than 6 months from the date of entry into Mexico. Mexico has no visa requirement for US, Canada, UK, and Australian Citizens, but you will be asked to fill out a FMM form (Mexico's visitor permit) on the plane or once you land. Once you get to immigration and customs at Cancún airport, the agents will give you the bottom half to retain until you leave the country. It is VERY important to keep this secure until you leave Mexico. Indian Citizens will need to obtain a tourist visa unless they have a valid US Visa or are permanent residents of Canada, UK, or Japan.
