We’re Getting Married!

We had known each other from middle school. But we didn’t get to KNOW each other until one night in Republic and what used to be an empty lot that has been turned into a plaza right next to sonic. That night was Republic Fourth of July celebration. We had both gone with separate families to watch the celebration little did we know we’d find ourselves in the exact same parking lot just a few months after Abigail had had a very important surgery that night I introduced myself officially, and we became best of friends. I helped her through the next next year battling against all of the odds due to her surgery. Next thing we knew we were in high school Abigail had told me she had feelings for me little did I know I would gain the same feelings back for her. After multiple attempts of asking me out, I had finally said yes our sophomore year February 6, 2017. We have been together ever since and now it has been a strong seven years.

The week of Thanksgiving, Abigail took me on a lovely getaway to Eureka Springs Arkansas. We spent the week and a lovely cabin all to ourselves spending time together and enjoying multiple outings we had arrived at our last outing of the week at top of the rock golf course we made our way through the trail to a beautiful waterfall where I was presented with the words marry me. Abby bent down on one knee, gave the speech of a lifetime and asked me “ Christina will you marry me?” I said YES! How could I say no to the perfect future? We can’t wait to welcome you to our wedding April 26, 2025. See you in Joplin!
