Things To Do

There are a ton of things to do the in Washington, D.C. area! Here are some of our favorites.

Smithsonian National Zoological Park

3001 Connecticut Avenue Northwest, Washington, DC 20008
, (202) 633-4888

Pandas!

Washington National Cathedral

3101 Wisconsin Ave NW, Washington, DC 20016
, (202) 537-6200

Bethesda Row

4827 Bethesda Avenue, Bethesda, MD 20814
, (877) 265-7417

If you’re staying at one of the recommended hotels, Bethesda Row is great place to grab a bite. Chaia is one of our favorites - they have amazing vegetarian tacos (trust me!)

Pike & Rose

11580 Old Georgetown Road, North Bethesda, MD 20852
, (877) 265-7417

If you’re visiting DC with your pup, Bark Social at Pike & Rose is the place to be!

Navy Yard

Washington, DC

Navy Yard holds a special place in Christina’s heart! She lived here when she met Phil. Catch a Nats game and visit the water! It’s also a quick walk to Capitol Hill!

National Mall

Washington, DC

Every one must visit the various sites on and around the National Mall at least once! Best part is all of the museums are free!

Capitol Hill

Washington, DC 20016

Phil and Christina spent many weekends walking around and looking at the houses in Capitol Hill, eating on Barracks Row (Rose’s Luxury is a must!), and visiting the Botanical Gardens!

Theodore Roosevelt Island

Washington, DC

Roosevelt Island is a peaceful place in the middle of the river to take a walk. It is completely pedestrian accessible. Georgetown is a short walk away if you want to grab a bite or do some shopping. Phil and Christina spent their 5th date at Roosevelt Island and Georgetown!

For all the days along the way
