I met Christina April 9, 1993, when my parents brought home my baby sister. As of that moment I knew my life would change forever. From moving half way across the world, to teaching you how to ride a bike in random campgrounds; from day one we've always had each others backs. And I have truly learned just as much being your older brother, as I hope you have being my little sister. Even if its only a 2 year and 1 day difference! When I first met Kim I knew Christina had not just found her partner, but her best friend. Seeing their relationship over time has made it very clear that these two were meant for one another, and I am extremely grateful they are beginning this new chapter of life and excited for all the new memories to come.

Meeting Kim happened by chance when a mutual friend recommended her for wedding photoshoot for my portfolio. Tattoos,long dreads and beauty. When I met her, she was quiet at first 'til we went out later that week and totally hit it off. We understand one another: when we need to talk, when we need a distraction & when we need to be silly. What was a business meet up turned into a life long friendship. Kim's pursuit of love was a struggle, but it was when she had the guts to move to Florida, she found her true self & love was right there waiting for her. Christina is her perfect match, she compliments Kim in the best of ways. When I visited them in Florida, Christina did everything she could, to make me feel comfortable and at-home. I cannot wait to see how their love flourishes together!

I first met Tina on our 5th grade basketball team. Our laid back natures and lack of basketball skills made us instant best friends. High school was the last time we lived in the same place, but we never let distance affect our friendship. Whether it was Tampa, Rome, or Sydney, Tina has always been my go to. I'm a flight attendant so I’ve had the amazing privilege to be able to visit Tina, and now Kim, in FL whenever I want. As soon as I met Kim, I knew her and Tina were meant to be. They compliment and complete each other so well! I love traveling, reading, being outside, and attending spontaneous concerts with Tina. I live with my husband Michael, our two kiddos and puppy in Chicago. I’m so thankful to call Tina & Kim my friends and can't wait to be apart of the upcoming celebrations!

I could not be more honored to be part of Kim and Christina’s day. My wife, Carly, introduced me to her childhood best friend, Tina, in 2015. She described her as easy going, funny and sneaky smart. Quickly, I learned how similar my wife and Tina were…especially in the way that they would be off to warmer weather in the snap of a finger. That is when I learned that Tina in fact already lived in warmer weather where she met her best friend, Kim. I have never met a couple who compliments each other so well while being so kind and courteous. When we visit, Carly and Tina always catch up while Kim and I talk about life, podcasts, psychology, and lots of laughs. She is extremely kind, relatable, and hilarious; this is why I am excited to stand next to her on the big day. We are so pumped!

I met Christina, who I lovingly call Feeni, when I was 8 and she was 7. The DeMaio's moved in across the street from my family, giving Christina and myself the privilege of growing up together and forming our amazing 22 year friendship. To call Christina a friend is an understatement. She is, and always has been, family. To get to know Kim and witness Christina meet her person has made my heart so incredibly happy. I am excited to now call Kim family too. My heart is fullest when I am around the people I love, enjoying summer nights on the patio, and cuddling with my daughter and pup. I live with my husband, daughter, and wiener dog in Channahon, IL. Christina has been with me through all my life stages and milestones and I am honored to stand next to her and Kim on their wedding day.

I’ve known Christina my whole life. She was always so laid back, and I was definitely the annoying little cousin wearing her hand-me-downs. I’ve only known Kim for a few years, but I know that she is the right person for Christina. She’s kind, caring, and easy to talk to. It’s easy to see how happy Kim has made Christina. They compliment each other in so many ways. I’m so happy for them & so excited to be apart of their celebration! I am a nicu nurse at Lurie Children’s in Chicago. In my free-time, I enjoy reading, binge watching netflix, and going out to dinner with friends!

I can still remember the 1st day I met Kim & Christina - it was a cold winter day, and I was nervous and excited - after all, they were the first of Peter's family I was to meet! Yet Kim & Christina brought all the welcoming, accepting, kind and fun energy that is very distinct in their relationship and the vibe they bring everywhere they go. They radiate a devotion and appreciation for one another where you can tell they enjoy simply being in each other's presence. It's easy to see in their love for animals and their family. As a yoga teacher, I truly believe that through love, compassion, and mindfulness, you can co-create the most beautifully conscious relationships that are deeply rooted in honesty, respect, and loyalty. And this is the relationship I think of between Kim & Christina. I'm looking forward to seeing Kim & Christina grow and flourish in their lives together. I'm grateful to be a part of this wonderful celebration and thankful to call them both friends and family!
