Join us on our road trip to marriage

Erich and Christina’s paths crossed in a time of discovery and self-fulfillment. Erich had just begun his Strongman career when Christina was climbing the mountain of experience. Strongman is what brought them together on a chilly December morning in 2016. These were the first moments Christina saw Erich for the man he was: stubborn, humorous, tenacious, and full of life. When asked, Erich vividly remembers the sass coming from this woman, as she challenged him by asking “are you ready big boy?” before he went in for a lift. They became inseparable after meeting again at another competition. With Erich living in the Central Valley and Christina in San Diego- nearly 350 miles between them- it made no difference. Their first date lied directly between them at a diner called The Iron Skillet and a sandwich shop called The Sand Witch. Little did Erich know that Christina did NOT like breakfast or sandwiches, but she indulged him.  Traveling became a regular occasion and to this day is still a highlight in their relationship. One road trip really set things into perspective. Erich set off to San Diego for the weekend not just for Christina, but to meet little Miss Anabelle and Christina’s parents for the first time. After a series of unfortunate events- that Christina thought would make Erich turn around and go home- he made it down in a record time of 14 hours! After a perfect weekend, the two of them had made their relationship official and knew in that moment life would change. Shortly after, Christina and Anabelle moved up to the Central Valley to begin a life as a new family.  After a few years of life together full of unforgettable adventures and memories, these two had established a strong foundation for their family. Erich popped the question a few minutes into the New Year of 2019 with a ring pop! One of his many romantic gestures.  Here we are now full of excitement and joy to invite you all on a new adventure, our road trip to marriage!
