We’re getting married!

Christina and Barrett met in the lunch room at Pinkerton Academy in Derry, New Hampshire, when they were 17 years old. After graduating, they spoke sporadically over the years, mostly via social media, but didn't get the chance to see if sparks would fly. In March of 2014, Barrett moved to Nevada, living with friends Mike and Kendra in Henderson, just outside of Las Vegas. Fast forward to November 2014: Christina takes a trip to Las Vegas because her friend Linaris is about to run her first marathon. She remembers Barrett has moved to Vegas from Facebook updates and asks if he wants to meet up. He has plans to see his mother, who is in town for work. They almost miss their chance again, but instead, she waits for him to be free and meets up on the last night she is in town. They fall in love. Christina returns 3 weeks later in December 2014 to celebrate her birthday. They spend a weekend at the Silverton in Las Vegas. He travels to New Hampshire/Massachusetts in June 2015. She returns in July 2015. She moves to Vegas with her basset hound Bella in August 2015. They welcome Benintendi, a basset hound mix, to their family in August of 2017. On December 22, 2019, Barrett asks Christina to marry him while on a video-chat with his family. The pandemic's arrival in March of 2020 delays the wedding festivities. They move to Vallejo, California in March 2022, still just as in love as that night in Vegas in November 2014. While COVID is still a reality, they know it's time to finally tie the knot and to welcome their family to join them. Thank you for being part of our story!
