Question

What should I expect at a Catholic wedding ceremony?

Answer

Our wedding ceremony will include a full Catholic mass, which is approximately 1 hour. Programs will be provided outlining the order of events during the mass. For more information on what to expect during the mass, here is a helpful website: https://www.weddingwire.com/wedding-ideas/catholic-wedding-ceremony

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Since our ceremony is in a Catholic church, it must begin promptly at 3pm to accommodate later mass times. Please plan to be seated by 2:45pm or earlier to ensure there is no disruption to the start of mass.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Free parking is available at the ceremony and reception sites. St. Raymond of Peñafort has its own parking lot. At The Coco Plum, there is a municipal parking lot on the east side of the building (on Sunset Drive) where guests can park free of charge.

Question

How far is the reception venue from the church?

Answer

The Coco Plum is located about 20 minutes from the church and Miami traffic can be unpredictable, so please head straight to the venue after the ceremony concludes!

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have secured a block of hotel rooms at two hotels in the area, but guests are free to stay wherever they please! Please see the "Hotels" page for more information!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The attire for our wedding is formal. Here is a guide we've found helpful in the past when attending weddings with this dress code! https://www.theknot.com/content/formal-wedding-attire
