Mudgie of Honor
Mudgie is Sonya's tiny brother and favorite guy. He graduated from 2nd grade suma cum laude and is now pursuing a promising career as a PokéMaster. His decorated resume includes a doctorate in Interesting War History, an Olympic gold medal in Balloon Fighting, and Head Boy of Hufflepuff House. It is with the utmost honor and humility that Sonya and Christie may have Mudgie as part of their wedding ceremony.
Man of Honor (Christie's Brother)
That’s Major Jesse to you. Jesse has been the best big brother to Christie, always there to give advice, do a weird song and dance together, get way too competitive with each other at games, and protect from mean grade school bullies. Christie is so grateful to have a brother she can always look up to.
Matron of Honor (Sonya's Sister)
When Priya was a little kid she wished for a little sister, and thank goodness she did because that's how we got Sonya! For Sonya's whole life, Priya has been a role model, protector, confidante, and endless source of silliness. Sonya is so honored to have Priya as her Matron of Honor!

Omar and Christie became friends in college despite Omar's signature move of submitting his section of the group paper at 11:59 for the midnight deadline. We're inviting him to this wedding in hopes that he returns the favor and invites us to his inevitable presidential inauguration.

Blaine and Sonya met sophomore year of college and became fast friends. After graduation, they lived together for almost 5 years and have remained closer than ever since. They share a love of internet nonsense, great food, and being mean. Christie frequently is their third wheel.

Cindy and Christie became friends in 7th grade choir class right after Christie moved to Texas. Together they weathered crushes on weird choir boys, tests about pinnipeds, questionable monochrome school lunches, and many a hilarious costume for everything from book reports to murder mysteries. Thank goodness the only things that lasted were their friendship and the costumes.

Maria and Sonya first met when they were the only 6th graders playing the oboe, a very lonely life indeed. They quickly became friends in middle school, sharing a common passion for math, tennis, Lady Gaga, and mainly making fun of people. Flash forward 15 years: Maria and Sonya remain close friends who are thankful to be a part of each other’s lives!

Matt and Christie met while working at JetBlue and became close friends because of their mutual, unilateral love of planes and travel. Records show that approximately 90% of their conversations have occurred on an airplane. After Matt left New York, he and Christie have remained very close thanks to the magic of the greatest invention of humankind: the airplane.

Katherine and Sonya met at Carnegie Mellon when they had the same engineering classes Freshman year. Sonya was so excited when Katherine joined their sorority, Kappa Kappa Gamma, sophomore year and they have been close friends ever since. Sonya was honored to be in Katherine's bridal party at her wedding and is so excited to have Katherine be a part of hers!

Christie and Chris became friends the day that Christie peer-pressured him into a volunteer event. They are still close friends to this day thanks to Christie's constant peer-pressure that he remain her friend. Chris feels neutral about attending this event.

Peter and Sonya met sophomore year of college when she inexplicably walked into his dorm room and drank his Jäger. They became friends for life when Peter invited a very anxious and newly graduated Sonya to his parents' house for some camaraderie and fun. Since then, Sonya has had the joy of visiting Peter out in Seattle and having lots of fun in NY visits too. Peter even flew in to NYC for Christie and Sonya's engagement!

Amy and Christie met one fateful day on the roof of JetBlue, both contemplating their next steps after some hard life changes. That day, Christie prioritized Amy over her frozen yogurt, the ultimate sign of a forever friendship. Good thing she did, because Christie is so grateful that Amy is as good at fun as she is at feelings.
