Christie was living in Jacksonville Beach, FL at the time and Mike was living in New York City. On a spontaneous girls trip to the city in September of 2017, Christie was introduced to Mike through Steven, a mutual college friend and Mike’s roommate. They hit it off so well that the 1,000 miles distance between them, and the numerous flights and countless facetimes, led Christie to make one of the best decisions in her life. She moved to the Big Apple with one of her best friends. For the next five years, Mike and Christie shared some of the most fun-filled memories in that city, growing as professionals and also in their relationship.  Last year, they both decided it was time to move back down to Florida where both their families are from. (Crazy they both went to same college *GO NOLES* and are from South Florida yet met in New York). In September 2022, they moved to Delray Beach and on January 7th, 2023, Mike proposed on top of the Jupiter Lighthouse. Now, they look forward to the next exciting chapter in their lives :)
