In November 2020, while the world was still masked up and social distancing, Mick and Christie were about to swipe their way into their greatest adventure yet. One heart-swipe later, they matched—and the rest is history! Their first date was at Kate Sessions Park in Pacific Beach, CA. It was short and sweet, as Christie had a very important appointment…to pick out a Christmas tree! But the connection didn’t stop there. Unable to stay away from each other after that first meeting, Mick joined her that evening to help decorate the tree—both donning their favorite cozy onesies. (Which, let's be honest, could totally count as date two!) Fast forward through countless laughs, adventures, and trips together, and it was clear: they were perfect for each other. After three fun-filled years, Mick got down on one knee during an epic African safari (cue the wild animals for dramatic effect!). Now, they can’t wait to celebrate their next big adventure—saying “I do”—with all of their favorite people!
