We're Getting Married!

Initially we knew each other from elementary school and took the same bus together, but after both graduating Grade 8 we didn't see each other again until we were both in university. In the fall of 2013 we reconnected and decided to meet up in person. Little did we know that was the start of something incredible.

Something we have always enjoyed doing together is hiking. We decided to brave a difficult hike one weekend and when we reached the top of Ampersand mountain we ate our sandwiches (our favorite part of a hike) and then started to explore. Matthew lead me to a spot overlooking the view and looked nervous. I looked over to see our friend recording on her phone and when I turned around he was on one knee holding a ring! I started crying and once I got a hold of myself I said YES! We're so excited to share this next chapter of our lives with you!
