Too taken aback by his first sighting of Jenny, marathon-training Christie ran around the block a second time. Surprisingly, post-call Jenny was still right there, deliriously attempting to retrieve the recycling bin she had already pulled back moments earlier. Sadly, nothing happened. We went our separate ways, but found ourselves swiping right days later on a dating app. Conveniently living a street apart, we agreed to a glass of wine on Christie’s porch. Good conversation that evening turned into a second date, a third, followed by snow-camping in a snowstorm. A natural progression. From there, it’s been two years of an adventure that keeps getting better - like a series of giving thanks for each day, our love, and who we are becoming together.
