The nearest airport is Los Cabos International Airport (SJD), and it's located about 40 minutes away from Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach. Don't forget your passport and check expiration dates! Airport tip: When you arrive in Cabo, you’ll walk through an area in the airport where timeshare representatives may try to offer free rides, excursions, or drinks in exchange for attending a presentation. While they can be very friendly and convincing, we recommend politely declining and continuing straight to the exit. For the smoothest arrival, head directly outside to your pre-arranged transportation or shuttle.
While Uber is available in Cabo, it cannot pick up directly from the airport. Guests who prefer Uber will need to exit airport grounds before requesting a ride. To make things easy after your flight, we recommend booking a shuttle or private car ahead of time. For your travel convenience, we've worked with two airport transfer companies so you can choose the very best one for you for round-trip service to the airport– see the below options: 1. Need A Ride Cabo - Our favorite! https://needaridecabo.com/ and add "Barkley wedding sunset" as your destination to receive a discounted rate on a private 5-person passenger SUV or their 10-14 person sprinter vans. 2. Transcabo: Offers shared round-trip shuttle options and additional fleets of cars. https://transcabo.com/en/tokenlogin/Christie.Drew and click on "Where are you staying?" and enter the following: Number of passengers in your party. Select the type of unit Arrival Flight Information (airline, flight number and time) Departure Flight Information (airline, flight and time) Click: “submit”
Tipping is not required but encouraged if you receive good service! We typically bring around $100 in USD to use for tipping throughout our trip.
Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach is a massive property with 6+ pools (all with different vibes), so you can pool hop depending on your mood. You’ll also find an award-winning golf club, tennis courts, pickleball, a fitness center, and game rooms, plus daily activities happening around the property if you want to jump in like cornhole, beach & pool volleyball, water aerobics, zumba, yoga, spin, pool games, and many more! For peak relaxation, the resort has a full-service spa, beach access, and plenty of spots to just unwind with a drink in hand and an ocean view. You can also explore the property by golf cart (which is half the fun), or take a free shuttle over to the sister resorts nearby for even more restaurants, pools, and bars. The PB sister resorts Rose & Los Cabos are located in downtown Cabo and your all-inclusive benefits also work at these resorts if you want to try a different restaurant or just see more of beautiful Cabo. The beaches at these two resorts are also swimmable!
Nope! We’ve decided to skip having a traditional wedding party. Instead, we wanted to keep things intimate and meaningful by having all of our guests be part of the celebration in a special way. Each of you has played an important role in our lives, and it felt most natural to celebrate alongside everyone equally — no sides, no titles, just the people we love most all together.
The wedding is on Thursday, February 4th, so we would recommend getting there at the latest the day before. We will also have a welcome event the evening of Wednesday, February 3rd, and we would love to have you there. After the wedding, you're more than welcome to stay for as long as you'd like! There will be an optional post-wedding hang on February 5th, but details are still TBA. :)
Drew and I love to host, make memories, and travel, so we knew we wanted to do something beyond the traditional wedding and invite our closest friends and family along for the experience. We fell in love with Cabo during our visit this past fall, and it felt like the perfect place to celebrate together for a few days – especially being that it's safe, fun, and all-inclusive. That said, we completely understand that traveling for a destination wedding isn’t always feasible, and while we’ll miss you, we’re so grateful for your love and support from afar.
We will be celebrating with a small number of children throughout the weekend. Children are welcome to attend only if they are specifically included on your invitation or if previously discussed with us. The resort is also family-friendly and offers babysitting services for added flexibility.
Due to limited capacity, plus ones are welcome if they are listed on your invitation or discussed in advance with us. We appreciate your understanding!
Check the website for any new updates for now! We'll also be doing automated group text messages closer to our wedding with any updates, reminders, etc., for those who officially confirm their attendance.
You won’t need to leave the resort to dine exceptionally well. PBSB offers a wide range of on-site restaurants and bars, from refined dining at La Frida to the lively Market at Quivira, a multi-concept food hall open from morning through late night. Guests also have access to 30+ restaurants across Pueblo Bonito’s sister resorts, offering endless variety throughout the weekend. For those looking to explore, we’re happy to share a curated list of our favorite Cabo spots.
