"How We Met"

August 2017

- When I first met Christie it was in August of 2017. She had come to give me some information about her son’s (Kedrick who I was coaching at the time at Woodlawn Middle School) dentist appointment. When she walked around the corner of the building I was stunned on how pretty she was. Me not really paying attention to what she was saying because I was looking at her the whole time told her the wrong time for football camp. Of course you know that didn’t sit well with her. Moving forward we had meal day for the football team and she offered me a cupcake and I turned it down. Of course this didn’t sit well with her either! 😂 - Coach Farrish aka Demond and I met in 2017 while he was coaching my son Kedrick at Woodlawn Middle School. I went to pick Ked up from camp and needed to speak to his coach to let him know Ked had an appointment the following day. When I walked around the corner Kedrick pointed out Coach Farrish. I spoke and began the conversation by telling him that Ked has an appointment tomorrow. I asked what time practice would be held and he told me 12. The next day, I took Ked to practice after his appointment a few minutes before 12 and to my surprise, everyone was leaving. I approached Coach Farrish and said I thought you told me practice started at 12. I honestly don't even remember what he said because I was HOTTTT! Fast forward into the season, the moms prepared a meal for the team and coaches. My son requested that I bring cupcakes. The players and coaches came in for a meal and I offered Coach Farrish along with the other coaches a cupcake and he told me no thanks. Oh you too good to eat a cupcake. He laughed at me and said no I don't really eat sweets like that. "Who is this guy that can't get his times right and does not eat cupcakes?"
