Where should we park?

Answer

For our guests who will have trouble walking longer distances, you may park in the driveway of the House. You can find the driveway located just before (or after depending on the direction you come from) the sign that says "Silver Spring Retreat Center". For all other guests, please go to the listed address which is for Silver Spring Presbyterian Church and park in the church parking lot. You can then walk across the grounds to the party!

What is the policy on Gifts?

Answer

Your presence is truly the present!! Whether you are coming to our ceremony in Tuscany or celebrating with us here at home, what we want most is to celebrate with YOU. Truly. No strings attached. A gift is absolutely not expected. If you would truly LOVE to give us something, you can find our registry and cash funds on this website. If you do purchase a gift, feel free to send it to our home or bring it to the party (or don't bring one at all because that is OKAY.)

What is this Wedding Celebration Party?

We are so glad you asked! We are very grateful to be able to host an intimate gathering in Italy for our wedding ceremony, but are saddened to not have so many of you there with us. So we're throwing a big party here in PA! There will be an array of fun appetizers and desserts, music and dancing, photo ops with the bride and groom, and time to really connect with everyone we love! If you can come for one hour or the whole time, please do. It would mean the world to us to have you there.

Where is the Wedding Celebration Party

Answer

The Historic Waugh-Wilson House- 404 Silver Spring Road Mechanicsburg, PA 17050. The reception will be at the House and on the large beautiful property! Main events will be outside under large tents. Bathrooms and seating will be available indoors as needed.

How long is the party?

Answer

The main events of the party will last about 2.5 hours (food, stories, dessert, dancing). But it is likely some of us will keep partying a bit later than that! Feel free to leave whenever you need to, we'd love to see you for any amount of time! If you are up for more dancing and hanging out around the campfire, please feel free to stay a bit later!

What should we wear?

Answer

Whatever you want! We're saying dressy casual, which means...dress up with you want or dress casual if you want to! It's totally up to you. If you want to dress up to the nines and sparkle on the dance floor, go for it. If you want to wear ripped jeans shorts and your favorite old tee shirt, please do. It's June in PA, so most of all wear something that will keep you cool (or if you're like Christie bring a cardigan for when the sun goes down!)
