What do you recommend for travel?

Answer

We recommend a few options: 1) Fly into Chicago (ORD) and rent a car up to the Madison area 2) Fly into Madison airport (MSN) 3) Fly into Milwaukee airport (MKE) and rent a car down to the Madison area Please note that 1) & 3) are not direct flights; Chicago is, but does require a car rental The wedding is in Sun Prairie, just 15 minutes or so North of Madison central.

How will food/drink work at your wedding?

Answer

We are having a cocktail-style reception, which was mentioned on your invite. This means we will have food stations set up for about three hours during the reception. When you see food, don’t be afraid to get some! We also will be having an open bar. Seating will be reserved for our family and wedding party. Other than that, seating is open (i.e., no seating chart). We want everyone to mix, mingle, and have fun!

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by August 4. Since this is a “destination” wedding for us and others, we want to be sure to have more than enough time to plan for food, beverages, and more! We appreciate your timely response.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, parking is free on-site, right outside of the venue. You can even leave your car overnight if you must. Stay safe!

Is there a cocktail hour?

Answer

Since we are having a cocktail-style reception, we will be going immediately from our ceremony to our reception. The traditional “cocktail hour” is already built-in to our reception, in a sense. So, head to the bar & look for food options as they come out!
