Super walkable. *Just be aware of your surroundings.* Use Uber anywhere in the French Quarter where the roads are open. If you are staying in the French Quarter - I wouldn't rent a car. Everything is close to you if you stay in one of the suggested hotels.

Hotel Room Block?

We are staying at the Omni Royal Hotel. We will have a room block but it is limited. Please reach out if you are interested because we can always try to make additions to the block. There is a little discount included with room block.

Please be mindful of your area and surroundings. The French Quarter can be such a fun place so let's try to be aware and stay with groups.

What about the Easter parades?

Answer

Sunday - The Historic Easter parade will begin at 9:45am outside of Jackson square and will run to the square and around until 10:45 AM for the 11:00 AM mass and following 12:00 mass. At 1:00 PM the parade dancers will promenade into Jackson Square. The Annual French Quarter Easter parade will begin at outside the Omni Royal Hotel (where our hotel room block is located for the weekend Thurs - Sun). The parade will begin at 11:00 in the hotel ballroom, and start the parade route at 1:00 PM outside. This parade will head down Bourbon Street and pass Jackson Square on the way back to the Omni Royal; which will be hosting several activities in the main rooms to conclude the parade.
