The bride and groom met at their local gym where they both go every morning. The groom was best known as the bride's "gym crush" for months before they ever actually met. They had each noticed each other long before the groom introduced himself. He told his mother "She's the kind of girl you would like" "she's easy going and talks to everyone." The bride told her gym friends "how geniune tim was.. how he seemed different than other guys and how she wished she knew if he was single." She says "Hes still to this day my gym crush!" Months later the bride started praying for her future.. specifically her future husband. A man who was a Christian, who was raised the same way she was, and enjoyed the same things." Three weeks later she hit a deer and needed some body work done to her car, Tim does body work so she left her number at the front desk for him to text her about her car. He texted her, they talked about the damage and that was it. But it didn't end there.. Tim kept popping back up wherever the bride was and that was her sign from God. THIS may be "the guy". After months of talking daily, seeing each other whenever they could and becoming the best of friends, they both realized this was something totally different than they had ever experienced. January 9, 2016 they made it official and have been inseparable ever since!

They were in Mexico for Tims 30th birthday gift from Kissy. It was a Tuesday night they had went to a nice dinner and were settling back into the room, when Tim suggested they go walk on the beach. Kissy who was falling asleep finally agreed..the beach had no lights so they returned to the room. Kissy started to fall back asleep while Tim was in and out of the room preparing for what Kissy had no clue was about to happen. Minutes later Tim told Kissy to go to the balcony he had a gift to show his appreciation for the trip. When she got outside he had a card laid out, (cards are her absolute favorite) and he had written in it a ton of sweet thoughtful things (words are her love language) and at the end it had Christianna Rae Karnes. When Kissy stood up he got down on one knee..after asking repeadly if it was a joke she finally said yes! He did a wonderful job planning the entire thing. He even remembered to capture it all on video! After, the couple celebrated with their new friends at the resort and had a fun filled night!
