Milwaukee (MKE) is the closest airport to the venue, located just 20 minutes away. If you would like, Chicago O’Hare (ORD) is a little over an hour away and may have cheaper flights since it is a larger airport in comparison to MKE!
The dress code is formal (suits and long dresses), but feel free to have fun with it! We’d love for guests to lean into spring colors; think pastels, florals, or bright and cheerful shades. Most of all, wear something that feels like you and that you’re ready to celebrate in!
The ceremony will start promptly at 4:30pm. We ask that guests arrive 30 minutes before so everyone can be seated on time.
Yes! Our ceremony and reception will be held in The Abbey, with cocktail hour to follow in The Hyde. Staff will be on hand to guide guests between spaces.
Yes! There is a parking lot nearby St. James 1868 that we have reserved. It has 45 parking spaces and if you cannot find parking there, there is free street parking on 8th Street, 9th Street, and Michigan Ave which are steps away from St. James! There are also two paid public surface lots, the Library Lot and Wells Fargo Lot, where you can pay to park via QR code. There will be St. James staff directing guest to available parking options.
Guests who prefer not to drive are encouraged to use Uber/Lyft, which are readily available in the area. While we won’t have a hotel shuttle, some hotels that we have room blocks for are within walking distance for your convenience.
Yes! The entire property is handicap accessible. There is a ramp located on the west side of the building off Wisconsin Avenue. The handicap accessible door is located through the courtyard and the elevator is accessible to all floors to each venue.
We kindly ask that once the ceremony begins, all phones are put away so everyone can be fully present with us in the moment. We promise to share plenty of beautiful photos afterwards!
We’re only able to accommodate the guests listed on each invitation. If you received a plus-one, they will appear on your invite and under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for your understanding!
We love your little ones, but to keep our celebration as planned, we’re only able to include the children specifically listed on each invitation.
Yes, come thirsty! We encourage everyone to have fun, but please drink responsibly so we can all enjoy the night together!
Absolutely, feel free to Irish goodbye whenever you need! We’re so grateful you’re celebrating with us and whether you stay for a little while or the whole evening, we appreciate you being there! Music early in the evening will be appropriate for all ages, with more explicit songs played later in the reception.
