If art is your thing, visit the Hilliard Art Museum on the campus of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. The museum's collection consists of 18th through 21st century European, Asian and American art works. The museum is closed on Sundays, so be sure to visit Friday or Saturday.
Head to one of New Iberia's newest spots for coffee, sweet treats and a nice vibe. Our suggestion: don't leave without trying the salted chocolate chip pecan cookies! And stop by the retail space to pick up a tin of the most delicious flavored pecans.
