Chris & Mimi first met in Wilmington NC at a WLD dance social. Christian invited Mimi to dance a salsa song by Tito Rojas. They had an incredible dance but he made a little mistake... he never asked her name, even though we had an amazing 3mins together, never asked for Mimi's personal information. At the time, Chris lived three hours away and didn’t know many people in the community. He tried to find her afterward, coming to town, to the beach hoping he will run into her, coming to dance events, etc, but never saw her again, and without even knowing her name, it was really hard to find her, but he never give up... A year later, fate stepped in—we crossed paths again at another dance event, and this time he asked for her name. From that moment, Chris and Mimi began talking and quickly became friends. Before long, Mimi realized that they were talking on the phone every single day, even though they hadn’t seen each other in person since the last event, she felt there was a special connection. Eventually, Chris decided to drive back to Wilmington to meet her face-to-face after months of calls, text, FaceTime, and it was absolutely worth the wait, they finally had the opportunity to have their moment which Chris knew that day, she was "the one". From that day forward, they have been together, building the best relationship they could've ask for. Three years later, Chris proposed to Mimi at the Oceanic Pier—the same place where he first asked her to be his girlfriend. It was the most romantic moment. Now, after years of dancing and loving their life together, they are finally getting married. And to make their celebration even sweeter, a little one will soon join their family— YES, they are pregnant! Their tiny dancer is on the way! and they want to share with you that moment...
