I first met Tristin back in November of 2016 while I was attending Portland State University. At the time, I was in my college era, throwing parties weekly behind my parents back and slaking off. Thanks to one of those parties, I was able to meet Tristin. He had just moved up from Queen Creek Arizona after high school to start a new chapter of his life. At first he was not interested in a relationship and wanted to be friends, however I was persistent and it worked as now we are planning our wedding.

Chris was incredibly persistent of me attending our best friend, Pua, graduation party in Hawaii. He also asked for us to invite our family to be there to celebrate Pua, as she has been a part of our lives and grew to be apart of our family as well. This was sus, but I truly had no clue that I would be coming back engaged. Chris surprised me on the beach of Waimanalo, Hawaii, on 5/23/2021. Surprisingly, 30 minutes after he proposed we received a call from our relator that our offer we had just put in for a home was accepted.
