Teagan and Christian were set up by two unlikely (but determined) conspirators: Christian’s younger brother, Seatyn, and Teagan’s cousin, Amber. The connection started with Seatyn and Rhett (Christians youngest brother, and Teagan’s younger cousin), who, despite their age gap, became inseparable at wrestling practices. Somewhere between takedowns and tournaments, the boys came up with a plan: if Christian and Teagan ended up together, they’d all be family. Amber took that plan and ran with it. Teagan wasn’t looking for a relationship at the time — neither was Christian — but Amber was convinced it was the perfect match. Eventually, after enough nudges (and maybe a few eye rolls), they gave in and started talking in the fall of 2024. Though they lived in different places, their connection quickly grew stronger. On November 11, 2024, they made it official, even knowing the challenges that distance would bring. Long FaceTime calls, heartfelt messages, and plenty of patience carried them through the months that followed. It wasn’t always easy — there were moments of uncertainty, life changes, and time apart. But through it all, God’s hand was undeniable. When they could have drifted apart, He brought them back together — time and time again. And then came the lavender fields. On July 2, 2025, Christian brought Teagan to a dreamy field of lavender and got down on one knee with the most perfect ring. What followed was a surprise engagement party filled with the people who had been cheering them on from the very beginning. Soon after, Teagan made the move to Tennessee to be with Christian, ready to take on whatever life brought next — deployment, distance, and all the adventures in between. Now, we're counting down the days to July 31, 2026 — the day we finally say “I do", after 9 long months of deployment! We can not wait to have you a part of our story!
