A few months prior to the mobile app Pokemon Go united geeks around the world to get out and "catch" Pokemon. It was probably the most peaceful the world has ever been. We were both Team Mystic and a part of a local Facebook group. We decided that we could be friends after chatting about the game for a couple of days. We decided on watching the movie Avatar together, and we found out that we had another thing in common, our love for movies! After many back and forth's on movies Shelley finally asked Christian the big question, "Do you like Harry Potter"? This sparked the next set of conversations that eventually lasted throughout the day. We stayed friends for the next couple of months and things started to spark romantically around December of 2016. We spent our first New Year's Eve together in each other's company.

We live at home with three puppies that are our kiddos- Dude, Delilah, and Luna. We enjoy taking them out to a field across from our house to let them run and play. They can be a handful, but they are also three of the biggest blessings that have ever happened to either of us. Our relationship is very competitive when it comes to our fandoms. We enjoy watching quizzes on Harry Potter and seeing which one gets the most correct, normally this is Shelley and she gets the bragging rights. We also love watching YouTuber's that are based around family life. We are very supportive of each other and try to push each other to be the best person that we can possibly be. We also like traveling. Whether it's just to Atlanta for the weekend or a week-long trip to Universal in Orlando. Christian has esports tournaments in Atlanta that we go to every year. While Christian and his team are hard at work competing, Shelley explores Atlanta with one of the other gamer wives. After practice/tournament, they always meet up for dinner and a little exploring. We took our first trip to Universal in March of 2019. With both of us being huge Harry Potter fans, this is naturally our happy place.

Do you remember reading earlier about our weekend trips to Atlanta? This trip started as any other, Shelley frantically running around the house trying to make sure everything is packed while also trying to clean the house before leaving. Christian ensuring everything is packed knowing he hasn't started yet and will not until we're ready to load the cars up. The squad always meets up at our place before we embark on our journey to the big city. All the cars were packed, so we headed to our first stop Arby's in Oxford. Once everyone was fed it was time for the drive. In the front seats, Christian and Kody jam out and talk about the upcoming tournament. While in the back seat Shelley puts make-up on and does her nails since she didn't have time before leaving. After about an hour and a half we all arrive in Atlanta. After dropping our bags off at the hotel we head to Piedmont Park.
