Julissa is Shelby's cousin, but having grown up together, she really is more like a sister and a built-in best friend. Shelby and Julissa have bonded through countless different experiences over the years as they've shared all the fun and exciting moments, as well as the hard ones. They often look back at memories from when they were kids and laugh, wondering what they were thinking at the time. Shelby and Julissa have remained close through various seasons of life and currently love to catch up over coffee at Urban Stampede.
Seth Thoelke
Best Man
Seth and Christian met freshman year of college at UND. They bonded through many college events and a Cru summer mission in NJ. Sharing many different fun, ridiculous, and hard life experiences they became close friends. At one point there may or may not have been a dance routine made for "I Want it That Way" by the Backstreet Boys. They were also roommates for two years. During which, countless nights were spent staying up too late talking about life and its many mysteries.
Erin Morris

Erin and Shelby grew up going to the same church, but never knew each other well. It wasn't until one summer in high school, counseling at camp together, that they actually became friends. Since then, they were college roommates for a while and Erin quickly made her way to being one of Shelby's closest, most trusted friends. They've made many fun memories and continue to enjoy countless long talks about life whenever they see each other.
Connor Meier
Groomsman
Connor and Christian met at a Cru conference in Minneapolis, MN. Later they bonded on a ski trip in Lutsen, MN after Connor aggressively asked, "Where are we eating supper?" while on a different chair on the ski lift. After many crass jokes and a Connor quotes page they became roommates at UND. Today bonding over terrible memes, prank calling Ricky, playing computer games, and random misadventures are the norm.
Janae Russell
Bridesmaid
Janae and Shelby knew of each other long before actually being friends. Freshman year at Lake Region State College rolled around and the two of them more officially met through Cru. Shelby and Janae bonded almost immediately over their interest in photography and discovering that they have very similar personalities. They have always been able to talk for hours on end and never run out of things to say. Now living thousands of miles apart, Janae is still one of Shelby's closest friends, even despite the distance.
Mathew Cherian
Groomsman
Mathew and Christian met when Christian introduced Mathew to Cru at UND. They almost became friends instantly. They have gotten to know each other through a lot of random get togethers and Cru events this past year. They both love the finer things in life. So naturally, they have bonded by working out together and getting coffee at Urban Stampede and Bulley Brew. Now days, they love to get together and talk about life and occupations (engineering and computer science).
Rachael Forsberg

Rachael is the oldest of Christian's younger siblings. Almost immediately upon meeting, Shelby and Rachael started talking about their shared love of photography, which will likely lead to many more fun conversations and bonding times in the future. Shelby is super excited to get to have Rachael as a sister in a few short months!
Ricky Jorgenson

Ricky is the oldest of Shelby's younger brothers and a good friend of Christian's. While Ricky and Shelby have had countless bonding experiences while growing up together, Christian and Ricky have bonded a lot the last few months. Christian and Ricky have shared experiences including but not limited to: watching dumb movies, prank calling Connor, making family situations as awkward as possible, and asserting their dominance to younger brothers in a hotel kiddie pool.
