What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Keep it simple! Consider the weather as it will be during the colder season. Don’t forget your dancing shoes!

What will the weather be like this time of year?

North Carolina varies, so to our out of town guest plan for warm or cold when planning on what to bring.

Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?

We will be having the ceremony AND reception at the Providence Cotton Mill.

Will ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

This still to be determined. Depending on weather both could be indoor and outdoor.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Guests can head straight to the reception hall where we will be serving finger foods and beverages.

Does your wedding have a theme?

Answer

We will be having a dark and moody themed wedding.

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive an hour before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled!

Where should guest park? Is there valet?

Answer

Parking will be located beside the venue and valet is available for those needed.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

Answer

RSVP will be available on our website or you can reach out to us and we will mark you down. We need to know 3 months prior to our wedding date.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #ohbrotherton so we can keep track of all of your pictures!
