We're getting married!

Saskia and Christian met Halloween weekend their senior year of college. Saskia wanted to visit Andreea at UVa and was lucky enough to snag a ride with five smelly Upper St Clair boys. One of those boys happened to be Christian, who stood out to her because he was particularly smelly, dressed in lederhosen, and kept her laughing the entire weekend. Christian thought Saskia looked super hot in her homemade sushi costume, so he got her number from the carpool group chat and invited her for a hike the following weekend. They've been laughing and growing together ever since.

Last summer, Saskia and Christian took a bike trip with the Oppelt family through the northern part of the Netherlands, biking from one quaint town to the next. Christian proposed on the first evening of the bike tour on a picturesque bridge in the town of Edam. They were then joined by family and friends for champagne, a "gezellig" dinner, and celebratory drinks under the stars. We can't wait to celebrate this next chapter of our lives with you!
