We met as Respiratory therapist at Medical City Arlington. We were both new to our careers but Paige had been doing it a year longer than me. It seemed as every emergent situation that came up she was right by my side. As she likes to say, "she was the boss just checking up on me", but i knew she couldn't resist my good looks. Throughout the course of working at MCA we developed lots of close friendships with our fellow RT's and they knew there was a spark between us two. From then on everyone knew us as a Dynamic Duo and until this day we're inseparable.

It was early on in our relationship that i realized this was the girl that i wanted to spend the rest of my life with. I'd never experienced myself being so happy so often. We had done some trips throughout the year and was always wondering where would be the perfect place. In August of 2021 we had taken a trip to Durango, Co. It was so beautiful in the summertime, especially when we did a train tour in the mountains. During the train tour there was an intermission that allowed guest to get off and tour an area in the wilderness. It was then i knew would be the perfect place to propose to Paige. Once we got back to Texas i had to think of an excuse to get us back to that exact same spot. I asked her and my close friends if they would be up for a Ski trip for my birthday. That was my excuse to take us back to that exact spot. I'll never forget dropping down on one knee. I was so nervous and was shaking while i purposed. That will forever be a moment that i cherish.
