Christian and Monica matched on Tinder on April 15, 2018 and a few hours later met up at the most romantic spot in Arlington...Buffalo Wild Wings. Christian locked it down about a month later on May 12, and the two have been inseparable ever since. They have been through many ups and downs over the years together, and it all came together on February 17, 2021 when Christian proposed. The couple decided to get out of the house after months of lockdown and do a roadtrip down the East Coast. They left their Arlington, VA home and headed for Charlotte, NC. After a few days there, they headed down to Miami, FL. On the way there, they found out they had been scammed on their hotel in Miami, so they decided to skip it and keep on heading down to Key West. Que Sera Sera. The first morning after they arrived, Christian surprised Monica with a romantic proposal on the balcony of their room overlooking the pool, marina, and ocean. Key West is a special place to Christian since his parents got married there in 1989, so it made the moment even more special for them. After spending a few amazing days in Key West, they headed home spending the last night in Charleston, SC on the way. Their last dinner of the engagement trip was eaten at the romantic Peninsula Grill. We are so thankful to have the absolute best family and friends supporting us along the way, and we cannot wait to party with each and every one of you next summer!
