Where is the venue?

Answer

The wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all be held at the Torpedo Factory Art Center (105 N Union St, Alexandria, VA 22314).

What is the dress code?

Answer

We ask that our guests wear cocktail attire. "What is cocktail attire" you may ask? Suits, ties, dresses of any length, and dress shoes are all fabulous choices. Bright colors and funky patterns are welcome! We kindly ask that guests refrain from wearing white.

What time should we arrive?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin promptly at 6:30 pm in the grand hall located just past the main entry doors. We kindly ask guests to arrive between 6:00 and 6:15 to allow ample time to find parking and get seated before the ceremony begins. To limit disruptions to the ceremony, doors to the facility will be locked once it begins, and will reopen once the ceremony concludes.

I have an allergy or dietary restriction

Answer

No problem! When you RSVP, there will be a field for you to note any dietary restrictions we should be aware of. We promise the food will not disappoint!

Question

How should I get to the venue?

Answer

We recommend saving yourself the hassle of parking in Old Town by taking a ride share service like Lyft or Uber. Many parking lots in Old Town close before our scheduled end time, but there is ample supply of rides. Those staying near King Street can consider taking the free King Street trolley to city hall, which is a 10 minute walk from the Torpedo Factory. Please factor in the time it will take to be picked up by your transportation method of choice to your plans!
