Golf
There are 5 public golf courses on Kiawah Island, including the Ocean Course, which hosted the 2021 PGA Championship. Cougar Point, Oak Point, Osprey Point, and Turtle Point are the others! Kiawah Resort guests receive a discount. We recommend booking tee times in advance!
Kiawah Island Beach
An obvious to-do, our favorite beach spot! There is beach access through the resort by walking through the lawn at the Sanctuary to the beach path!
Freshfields Village
Shopping at Freshfields Village! There are lots of stores and restaurants, perfect fun to fill an afternoon or morning!
Roy Barth Tennis Center
For the tennis lovers!
Day Trip to Charleston
Shopping on King Street, walk on The Battery, etc. Kiawah is about 45 minutes from downtown!

THE NEST!!! (Love this place so much. Good food, good coffee, island merch, even doubles as a small grocery store/ alcohol store...truly a one-stop-shop.) Café Eugenia (SO GOOD) Java Java Coffee
Lunch
Cherrywood BBQ & Ale House (in the Osprey Point clubhouse. Beautiful views and very good BBQ!) The Player's Pub (in the Cougar Point clubhouse. Also has beautiful views!) La Tela Pizzeria (classic yummy Italian) Harvest Healthy Eats (acai bowls, grain bowls, smoothies, salads) Co-Op (good sandwiches, but the star of the show is their frosé) 48 Wine Bar (great for appetizers or light bites! Charcuterie, flatbreads, etc.!) The Station (yes, this actually is a gas station, but don't knock it till you try it! They have a deli counter with great breakfast food items and lunchtime sandwiches, chicken fingers, burgers, etc. Christian's favorite pair of sweatpants were purchased from The Station. It's the place that keeps on giving!) Any of the resort clubhouses!
Dinner
Heges (In Freshfields so this is close to our welcome party if you are looking for Friday night dinner plans!) Jasmine Porch at the Sanctuary (Classic southern food) Linnette's at the Dunlin (The Dunlin is another beautiful resort located just outside Kiawah if you are looking to adventure, it is a gorgeous place!) Any of the resort clubhouses! Beaches & Cream for ice cream after!
