Frequently Asked Questions

If you have any other questions, please feel free to reach out to us!
Question

What are guidelines should guests follow for COVID-19 throughout the wedding celebrations?

Answer

We will be complying with the current CDC guidelines for Virginia and both of our venues. We ask that if you are feeling unwell or have any possible symptoms, please stay at home and celebrate with us virtually or another time.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our dress code will be black-tie preferred. Traditional Indian and Filipino attire are also highly welcomed. If you don't already have a tuxedo or a floor length gown, a nice cocktail dress or a suit is perfectly acceptable.

Question

Are children welcome?

Answer

Although we love your kids, we would love to give you a night off of fun and relaxation! We respectfully request no children other than those of our close family be at our wedding. We highly appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time so that you can have a night off to celebrate with us!

Question

Do you have a hotel block for guests?

Answer

Yes, we have reserved a room block for our guests at multiple hotels. For more information, please see the "Travel and Accommodations" tab.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If your formal invitation has a "and Guest", then yes. If not, we would prefer it be just you. Please note we will be mailing out formal invitations this Spring.

Question

Will there be transportation to and from the venues?

Answer

Ubers and Lyft's are easily accessible and we will share a voucher code the week of the wedding.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Yes, there is plenty of free public parking at both Our Lady Of Hope and The Hilton McLean Tyson's Corner. There is also free overnight parking at the Hilton hotel.

Question

What happens after the ceremony and in between cocktail hour?

Answer

After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures nearby. Guests will be able to go back to the hotel and relax for a bit while we get prepared for cocktail hour & the reception.
