FAQs

If you have any questions other than those listed here, please contact Jamie and Christian at (440) 829-3908.
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP no later than April 10th!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Children whose names appear on your invitation (individually or as ‘family’) are welcome to attend. If you have questions about who is invited, please contact us directly. Keep in mind that the party will go until 11pm.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Please only bring a guest if one is specified on your invitation.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Semi formal attire. The ceremony will take place in a screened-in porch area. Cocktail hour will be indoor-outdoor and weather permitting, we will have a couple lawn games during that time. The reception will be held indoors. We recommend bringing a light jacket and keeping an eye on the forecast, as Ohio weather is notoriously unpredictable.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes, we have a limited number of rooms available at a group rate at the Marriott Fairfield Inn Akron-Stow. See the Travel & Hotels page for more details.

Question

What is the parking situation?

Answer

The main parking lot for Happy Days Lodge is across the street. Please park there and follow the short walking path (with stairs) and tunnel to the Lodge. There are a limited number of handicap parking spaces available directly next to the lodge. Please let us know if you will require a handicap space. We strongly encourage carpooling if possible!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at Happy Days Lodge by 4:30pm to give yourself plenty of time to park and get settled in prior to the ceremony.

Question

Is there transportation from the hotels to the venue and back?

Answer

No, please plan to carpool as much as possible with other guests.

Question

Can I take photos at the wedding?

Answer

During the ceremony, we kindly ask that you remain "unplugged" and refrain from taking any photos. We have hired a professional photographer who will do a wonderful job of capturing this special event, and we will be sure to share those images with you. HOWEVER, you are welcome and encouraged to take photos at the cocktail hour and reception. We will have QR codes where you will be able to upload your photos to a shared album so all of our loved ones can help us capture the festivities :)
